Easy Berry Preserves by Brazen Bounty

Who doesn’t love a good sale? Especially a BOGO sale. Especially a surprise BOGO sale. Here’s the rule of thumb: “If it can Can, you can BOGO.” In other words, if you can preserve it in a can or jar or turn it into a jam, jelly, or sauce, then go ahead and buy the extra and take advantage of the savings.

Well, there was the display: Buy One – Get One. And there was the sale: 10oz bags of frozen strawberries. She knew what she had to do! Ah. Alas.

There is another display: Limit 4. Really? Ok, fine. Have it your way, store. If the limit is four, then four it is then. We’ll dehydrate a couple and we’ll preserve a couple.

Honestly, this is the easiest way to preserve fruit. And it only takes 2 ingredients. Really, the things they put in grocery store jellies. No one needs all that.

Just fruit, a bit of “sweet,” and a bit of “set.” That’s all. That’s it. And depending on the fruit and the type of preserves you’re making, you don’t even need the “set” afterall.

The Brazen Bounty went ahead and made the simplist of tutorials for us. Really. It’s so easy.
